Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Shopify Plus stores to meet client specifications and enhance user experience.
• Implement custom Shopify themes and modify pre-existing templates based on strategic business goals.
• Develop and integrate custom apps using Shopify’s API to extend website functionality.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and other developers to ensure the technical feasibility and timely execution of projects.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain standard coding practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and e-commerce technologies.

Required skills & qualifications

• React.js, GraphQL, HTML5, CSS3
• Shopify storefront API
• Liquid
• Headless CMS (contentful, storyblok)
• At least 3+ years experience with Shopify Plus
• Extensive Javascript experience (React.js, GraphQL)
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Good English level
• Experience in using version control and management systems: GIT, Github
• Experience in working Agile
• Experience with using third-party libraries and APIs
• Worked with Design programs like Sketch, Figma or Invision
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred skills

• Experience with e-commerce optimization, SEO principles, and the Google Analytics suite.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
• Certifications in Shopify development or similar credentials.
