We're striving to become better at what we do, so we've created an internal platform that would help us determine, match, and train our skills within Cegeka. 


It's all about:

  • Skills management: It's a tool that helps us to determine the skills of employees, such as Developers, Testers, Analysts, BA, etc. We use a 3rd party tool that is connected to some of Cegeka's internal platforms and HR processes. The team is extracting data from the external and internal tools, and mapping the data to a data model, so it can be transferred and used.
  • Capacity management: Based on skills assigned to people, the Business understands the capacity. The data needs to be merged via API integrations, so that the management tool could provide information regarding the capacity.
  • API Management: The team also manages our API management solutions, which assumes good knowledge and familiarity with REST APIs, being able to define/configure/manage APIs + support. We develop complex and challenging integrations between business applications by means of orchestrating API calls using the latest tools and technologies.
  • Operational work: All the already-built integrations require maintenance and follow-up.

In order to succeed here, let's start with some of these:

  • Good experience in C#/.NET development, with analytical skills (so as to determine how the integration should work from a functional point of view).
  • Experience in Agile methodology: we want to start quickly with delivering software, on which we receive feedback, and adapt our software along the way.
  • Hands-on knowledge of the Azure Ecosystem is a must: App services/Azure Functions/Azure Event Grid/Azure Service Bus should have no secrets for you.
  • Knowledge of legacy tools is a plus, but not a must.
  • Knowledge of API Management tools is a plus.
